Hope, by Alex Lifeson
It’s been acoustic in my head this morning, with this little dity from Alex Lifeson. Using a Gibson 12 string, he really seems to enjoy playing it in concert, and as he’s pleased to point out on the album jacket, he “did it all by my own self.”
It was so amazing to see him play this in concert. (For those of you who don’t know, Craig’s had the opportunity to go to 7 Rush concerts this summer — he’s currently, at this very minute, at his last one in Salt Lake, with David & Mike). On Saturday night in Sacramento, we had front row seats — an awesome experience. Craig was mostly focused on Geddy, but I found myself continually drawn to Alex – he was delightful to watch. But I’ll let Craig tell you more about the concert.
