Ice Cream for the Weekend

Here’s one of my favorite ice cream recipes. It makes quite a bunch, if you’re using a table top ice cream freezer you’ll want to only do about a quarter recipe.

4 cups whole milk

4 cups whipping cream

4 cups sugar

4 cups of any kind of fruit

6 oz can of frozen orange juice

6 oz can of pineapple juice
Blend fruit and sugar in food processor. You can hold some fruit out to chop and add to ice cream while freezing. Combine all ingredients in freezer can, churn-freeze. Ripen in freezer.
This sounds absolutely delicious. It has been so long since I’ve had home made ice cream…. there really is nothing like it

Jamie, not to add insult to injury, but last weekend we made a batch of peach and a batch of raspberry…. hmmm, hmmm good!
